Kaligrafia to coś więcej niż sztuka pięknego pisania. To proces, w który zaangażowane jest całe ciało. Za pomocą narzędzia i gestu powstaje ślad, który możemy odczytać. Zapamiętujemy znak, a nie ruch potrzebny do jego wykonania. Wykorzystałam ruch ciała jako sposób zapisu i komunikacji. Słowo może funkcjonować jako znak, dźwięk i gest. Kaligrafia łączy w sobie te elementy.

Calligraphy is more than the art of beautiful writing. It is a process involving the entire body. With the help of a tool and a gesture, a trace is created that we can read. We remember the sign, not the movement needed to make it. I used body movement as a means of recording and communication. A word can function as a sign, sound, and gesture. Calligraphy combines these elements.
